Departments:

  • LT1 Forest plantation, breeding and dendrology

    The department carries out training of specialists for institutions and enterprises of the forest complex, institutions and research organizations in the field of forestry, ecology and nature protection.

  • LT2 Forestry, ecology and forest protection

    The department of forestry trains bachelors, engineers and masters for forest industries and aesthetic forestry. Students are taught how to use, protect and reproduce forests. They major in forest monitoring, forest inventory, cadastral registration and forest management. They also study natural, anthropogenic and urban landscapes.

  • LT3 Forest management, engineering and GIS

    The department carries out conducting research in the field of forest taxation, forest management, earth remote sensing, dynamic simulation of forest plantations, economic estimation of forest resources.

  • LT4 Technology and equipment of forest complex

    The department carries out training specialists for logging enterprises and forestry, forest industry complexes and research organizations. The department trains students in the technology and equipment of forest complex.

  • LT5 Timber complex objects designing

    The department carries out training of bachelors, masters and scientific staff of the highest qualification. Moreover «LT5 Timber complex objects designing» improves the forms and methods of teaching, develops training and methodical manual and exchanges the experience of teaching disciplines with related departments in higher education institutions of the country. As a result, students are engaged in research work.

  • LT6 Landscape architecture

    The graduates of this department can work in forest and urban recreational zones as well as municipal forests. Students get knowledge in landscape design, the theory of landscape art, the basics of plantation reconstruction, the basics of landscape composition, floristry and the basics of colour science. They also look into the role of trees and bushes in landscape architecture.

  • LT7 Transport-technological means and equipment of forest complex

    The department prepares bachelors and specialists of mechanical engineers for the forest complex as well as highly qualified personnel for postgraduate and doctoral studies.

    Scientific research is regularly carried out in the field of cross-country and maneuverability of logging equipment, and the ecological compatibility of forest wheeled and tracked vehicles is also investigated in order to create the most favorable conditions for reforestation after logging. As a result, textbooks, training manuals, and collections of scientific papers on the machines of the forest complex are produced.

  • LT8 Wood technology and woodworking technology

    Training is based on modern information technologies and automated design of wood products. The main attention is paid to the study of furniture designs for various residential premises.

    Graduates of the department are in demand at enterprises engaged in the production of goods and products made of wood: wooden low storey house, furniture, lumber, wood slabs, veneer, doors, windows, etc.

  • LT9 Chemistry and chemical technology for timber complex

    The main directions of work are defined by the united departments during their long-term activity. The main attention is paid to educational activities. Students study the entire range of classical chemical disciplines, acquire laboratory research skills, and study a wide range of technological and special disciplines. Also students get professional skills when passing production and technological practices. By the end of the bachelor’s or master’s degrees program students perform graduate qualification work.

  • LT10 Automation of technological processes, equipment and production safety

    The department carries out activities in the field of digitalization of production, development of information technologies, robotics, artificial intelligence, multi-agent systems and additive manufacturing technologies. All this opens up boundless horizons of cooperation.

  • K1 Automatic-control system

    The Department of «Automatic control systems» is the basic graduate department for training specialists (engineers) in the specialty 24.05.06 «Control systems of aircrafts» for specialty «Control systems of launch vehicles and spacecraft», bachelors and masters in the areas of training 27.03.04 and 27.04.04 «Management in technical systems».

  • K2 Information-measuring systems and instrumentation production techniques

    Future specialists of this profile acquire skills and knowledge in research, development and technologies necessary for the creation and operation of devices and information and measurement systems designed to obtain, register and process information about the environment, technical and biological objects.

    The department has agreements on joint activities with leading companies in this industry. At the enterprises lectures are given, practical classes and laboratory works are conducted, as well as educational, industrial, and pre-graduation training.

  • K3 Applied mathematic, computer science and technics

    The department offers courses on mathematical modelling, simulation experiment, network programming, web-technologies, system programming, databases, artificial intellect, telemetric information processing, spaceship management, microcomputer programming, onboard computers, operational systems, instrumentation and certification.

  • K4 Economy and management

    The department trains professionals who are capable of working in profit and non-profit organizations, companies, joint-ventures, banks, stock exchanges, the customs. The opportunities also include accountancy, marketing and research and development. Graduates have a good command of two foreign languages. They know international economics, banking, lending, securities markets, taxation, etc.

    Students of «K4 Economic and management» major in financial management, information management, production management, innovations management, marketing, logistics, strategic management, quality programmes, green management.

  • K5 Linguistics

    The Department trains translators and interpreters for forest enterprises and teachers of foreign languages.

    The results of teacher,s work in the main research areas are reflected in numerous journal publications, collections of scientific papers of Russian and international conferences, monographs and textbooks.

  • K6 Higher mathematics and physics

    The department of higher mathematics teaches basic mathematical disciplines for training specialists in the field of mathematical and computer software, mathematical programming, algorithmization of computational processes, automation and control systems, forest and woodworking industry, economy and marketing.

  • K7 Pedagogy, psychology, law, history and philosophy

    One of the tasks of this department is to train professionals who know the world and national cultures, history, philosophy and social sciences. philosophy and social sciences widen students’ outlook through social processes analysis. psychology and pedagogy show students how to build up relationships in a family and team. The knowledge of foreign languages gives access to authentic technical information.

  • K8 Physical culture and sports

    The department of physical culture and sports conducts classes on physical culture with students of all specialties. Depending on the state of health and the degree of physical fitness, students are divided into academic departments.

    Each semester ends with a credit, and the 8th semester ends with a final exams. Sports facilities of the department:
